Girls’ Generation continues their worldwide domination by signing with French record label, Polydor France.

Polydor France tweeted earlier today on their official Twitter account that Girls’ Generation has joined their label along with Interscope records. Both labels are subsidiaries of Universal Music Group.

Much like how Interscope is releasing “The Boys” in the US, Polydor France will be releasing Girls’ Generation’s album to the French market. The girls made a huge impact with their performance at SMTOWN LIVE in Paris this past June.

Meanwhile, “The Boys” has been completely dominating the charts in Korea, getting #1 on every real-time chart and taking many spots in the top ten with other songs from the album. The single has also been a success around the world on iTunes, taking the #1 spot in Japan and breaking into the top 100 songs at  #67 in the US and #30 on the US iTunes Pop chart. On Youtube, the music videos for “The Boys” have combined for an incredibly fast 5.5 million views at the time of this article, and have been one the most favorited and most liked videos on the website.

Girls’ Generation joins their fellow label-mates in New York City this Sunday October 23rd at Madison Square Garden for SMTOWN LIVE in NEW YORK. Following the concert, Soshified will be holding the first ever fan meeting in the United States with Girls’ Generation on Monday the 24th.
