On October 15, Girls’ Generation will join a number of Asian music stars at the “2011 Asia Song Festival”, which will be held at Korea’s Daegu Stadium.

This event will have famous artists from around Asia all under one roof, and it is the 8th time this festival will be held. Korean artists Super Junior and Girls’ Generation, Japanese techno pop group Perfume, Taiwanese singer Peter Ho, Leo Ku from Hong Kong, China’s Zhou Bi Chang, and Thailand’s Tata Yan will all be participating at this event.

The Korean Industry for Cultural Exchange will be working alongside UNICEF in sponsoring the event to be held at Daegu Stadium.

The chairman for the Korean Industry of Cultural Exchange was quoted as saying, “This music festival is very important as it will also be held in congratulations to the athletes that participated in IAAF World Championships in Athletics,” which will be held from August 27th to September 4th.
