After the stunning performances put on by Girls’ Generation at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan on the 25th of June, MTV has recently posted up new announcements related to the VMAJ once again.

The broadcast on the 25th of June had only shown the performances by various artists such as Tokio Hotel, Lady Gaga, Kana Nishino, Namie Amuro, and of course, our beloved Girls’ Generation. However, on the 2nd of July, the much anticipated results of the awards show will finally be released, and will be broadcast across countries in Asia such as Singapore, Malaysia, and China from 6:30PM to 8:00PM JST.

Girls’ Generation has been nominated in three out of the 15 awards for their hit Japanese single, “Genie”, and the winners of the various categories will be announced during the broadcast. Other nominees include singers such as Justin Bieber, Utada Hikaru, Linkin Park, Avril Lavinge, Kato Miriya, and Ikimonogakari.

On the other hand, a previously recorded Making of the MTV Video Music Aid Japan will also be revealed on MTV on the 23rd of July. It will feature backstage scenes of the performers and crew interacting, and it will also show clips of the staff from MTV giving their comments on the VMAJ. This broadcast will provide insight on the entire awards show, as well as a peek into the days just prior to production. The program will last for half an hour, and will be broadcast from 6:30PM to 7:00PM JST.

Be sure to catch both the shows, as they are definitely something you would not want to miss out on.
