Girl group SNSD has shot their arrows towards Japan for the third time.

On the 21st, the Japanese version of their mini album, ‘Hoot’, was revealed, which was followed by a hot response.

The day before its release on the 20th, Tower Records was filled with SNSD. ‘Hoot’ was played endlessly throughout the store. Japanese fans, ranging from those that were not in their 20s to those in their 30s, could be seen purchasing the newly released albums.

A Tower Records store employee, Tanaka, stated, “Because the anticipation for SNSD was so high, we set up the stands a day before (20th) the release day. We have been receiving consistent calls since last week regarding the release. The positive attention is high, regardless of gender.”

The hot response from fans continued online. The CD+DVD+photobook version of the mini album ranked in 2nd on Tower Records’ preorder chart on the 20th, while the other two versions ranked in 9th and 10th. The mini album contains a total of five tracks, ‘Hoot’, ‘Mistake’, ‘My Best Friend’, ‘Wake Up’, and ‘Snowy Wish’.

SNSD will be returning to Japan on the 22nd. They will appear on shows and begin promoting their new album.
