So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Taeyeon will be taking over as a solo DJ at “Chin Chin”.

With Super Junior’s Kangin dropping out of MBC Radio’s “Kangin and Taeyeon’s Chinhan Chingu,” So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Taeyeon is now the sole DJ.

A affiliate of “Chin Chin” held a phone conversation with Star News on the 7th and stated that, “after Kangin’s departure, we have not picked another DJ so starting on the 13th Taeyeon will be running the show by herself.”

They also explained that, “although the two DJs’ interaction was a big part of the show, slight changes will be made to the program setup and concept once Taeyeon DJ’s by herself.”

Taeyeon, who joined “Chin Chin” last April has gotten a solo DJ spot after one year of DJing. Kangin, who has been a DJ since 2007 April, is leaving “Chin Chin” after the 12ths broadcasting in order to focus more on Super Junior’s 3rd album promotions.

This change can be linked to the upcoming restructuring of the MBC Radio Sector on the 13th. With this restructuring many of the star DJs will be leaving and popular announcers such as Oh Sangjin, Moon Jiae, and Huh Ilwoo will be taking their places.

Kanging will be departing from MBC4U’s “Kangin and Taeyeon’s Chinhan Chingu”

An MBC affiliate stated that, “with the upcoming spring restructuring, Kangin will have his last broadcast as DJ on the 12th and then step down. The plan is to then have Taeyeon host the show by herself.”

Kangin stated, “with Super Junior activities, radio hosting, ‘We Got Married’, the drama ‘Go Pickpocket Squad Zero’, preventing any conflicts in schedules is impossible. Super Junior will also be going to various parts of Asia such as China and Thailand.”

Kangin took over for Tablo in 2007 and hosted “Chin Chin”, garnering the love of listeners with his trademark honesty and directness.

So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Taeyeon will take over MBC FM4U’s “Kangin and Taeyeon’s Chinhan Chingu” as a solo DJ.

An MBC affiliate stated that, “with the spring restructuring on the 13th, Kangin will be leaving ‘Chin Chin’ with his last show being on the 12th, and Taeyeon will be a solo DJ.”

“chin Chin” producers are currently not looking for a replacement DJ, and it looks like Taeyeon will be the sole DJ for the time being.

Meanwhile, Kangin has been trying to manage a hectic schedule which includes the returning of Super Junior after a year and a half, “We Got Married”, and MBC Drama Channel’s “Go Pickpocket Squad Zero”. Also, since Super Junior will be promoting their third album all over Asia, stepping down from the DJ position was unavoidable.

An affiliate of Kangin’s parent company stated, “Kangin has received a lot of joy and energy by connecting with listeners through the radio. He is very disappointed that he has to leave the radio show, and that he will work even harder to not disappoint the listeners that have been supporting him.”
