I am a Software Engineering student currently studying at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
I first got introduced to SNSD when through the website of an anime fansub group, interestingly enough. One of the subbers liked to post K-pop videos when releases of anime episodes were delayed. Usually I ignored these posts until one day I decided I would click one just to see what it was all about.
That was the first K-pop video I had ever seen and it was Kissing You. At first, I was confused as to why there were 9 girls waving lollipops around. I was also amazed by the fact that they had such amazing beauty and could sign well. So I decided to look a little deeper, stumbled across their other music videos. I started searching for subbed versions of their music videos which was when I stumbled across Soshified in my quest to find subs for Gee and Genie.
These forums are a wonderful and awesome place. I definitely think our 9 girls are proud of the wonderful community that we have here, and I hope that these forums will continue to be frequented by international Sones. Soy, you are my hero!
