[10.23.10] KPopNight 2010 Singapore

23 October 2010 - 09:08 AM

Okay.
Here's my story(Fan account).

I am a ticket-holder of the standing pit.
I arrived the venue(Singapore Expo Hall 2) at around 7am.
The queue was outside the venue.
My gosh, the queue was rather long by then alr.
I heard that some of them had actually queued overnight!
I was in the middle but slightly back.

Then it started to rain at around 11am-12pm,
So the organizers(who are rather fail),
Let us inside the shelter, which is outside the seating area.
Then at around 1pm-2pm, the rain stopped and shortly after we were told to move out again.
In my opinion, the organizers should had did more planning of where we should be.
It seems like as though there're no other places to put us, but just outside.

#1 Bad, Cutting the Queue
For some reasons, when we were moved out,
people managed to cut the queue.
Some people were enraged and complained to the security.
They pointed out the SG SONES.
(They were a small group at first, but grew as more people joined)
So the security went to the group of them (which consisted of arnd 20-40 ppl?),
and asked them to be honest -
that is for those that cut the queue to join the back of the queue.
Since they're all wearing SG SONES tee,
I thought they should just admit it since they're carrying the name of SONES,
which is also representing a part of SNSD.

To my horror and disgust,
They did not,
instead they thought it was right of them to do so,
Giving the reason that other people in front did it too.
In my opinion, they should have just moved out.
Since they knew that it was wrong to do so,
When people started to cut the queue, they should have pointed it out to the security too.
But instead, they followed suit.

Not only me, but many others were disgusted by their act.
They retorted as though they had done no wrong.
In the end,
The security had no choice but to give in.
Since they were also too large a group of people
And they refused to own up.

#2 Bad, Litters
Singapore is supposingly a litter-free country,
or so they said.
But there were litters found everywhere,
even though there were dustbins around.
It was unsightly for foreigners to see such stuffs.
I felt kinda embarrassed.

#1 Good, Enthusiastic Attitude
I must say,
SG Sones were very enthusiastic throughout the whole thing.
They were united,
wearing their SG SONES tee.
And most of them had their Pink Light Saber.
If not, pink lightstix.
Some also sprayed temporary pink highlights on their hair.
It shows the spirit of us, Sones.
Hence, I would like to commend on SG SONES enthusiasm.

#2 Good, SNSD (of cos right?)
I mean, aren't they awesome?
Flying from overseas.
Around, everywhere, just for us?
I mean, they were literally doing their best.
Even despite their busy schedule,
They still did their best in whatever they do.

Oh,
And Hyo Yeon was stunning.
I didn't expect her to be so pretty in real life.
Not to forget Soo Young's "new smile" too!
And Tae Yeon trimmed her hair.
It was also nice to see Tiffany in her new orange hair.
Yoona, Jessica, Sunny, Yuri and Seo Hyun are just as captivating as before.

Anyways,
they performed Genie->Oh!->Run Devil Run->Gee
IT WAS TOTALLY JJANG.
THE SYSTEM WAS AWESOME.
THEIR DANCE WAS AWESOME.
EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!
IT'S LIKE NOTHING SEEMS TO BE WRONG
FANS WERE CHANTING.
AMAZING VOCALS THEY HAVE.
It was,
A Dream Come True.
Climax:
During Genie when Tiffany sang "SINGAPORE, PUT IT BACK ON~!"

OVERALL
I think it was still jjang!
But it could have been better if SG SONES had shown a better behaviour.

On a side note, I don't hate SG SONES or anything.
Just giving a fair account of what I've experienced.
Please dont bm me. Thanks!
