Apparently, right now they're trying to trend #권유리생일축하해 (Happy birthday Kwon Yuri) & #TodayIsYuriday for Yuri's birthday.

I only heard a preview of the song on Tumblr, so when I found out that the lyrics were out, I decided to listen to the song while reading the lyrics to make it more meaningful. And I'm glad I did so, because the lyrics are so beautiful that I'm honestly a little teary now.

This song describes Girls' Generation, the 'So Nyuhs', perfectly. Because right now all of them are in their 20s, obviously they're slowly becoming women/ladies. Yet they're still the silly, dorky, cute, lovable girls that we know and they'll stay like that as long as they can because they'll always stay girls.

This song also seems to be a message to their sunbaenims, themselves and SONEs combined. "After meeting you, how much have I changed? I can't see it myself, but have I become closer to the person that I admire?" This line could be for their sunbaenims, not technically meeting them but just knowing about them and being in love with their music. After all, BoA was the inspiration to many K-idols. "Be ladies but we stay girls" could be just telling the members, that no matter how would they age, they'll be young at heart. And while "Your voice supported me" could also be for their sunbaenims because I remember Tiffany saying something about her sunbaenim supporting her when she felt down, it could also be for SONEs, cheering them on.

I guess I'll have a new song on repeat from now on.

When I first heard the words 'Flower Power', I expected the song to be about love and peace. Even when I heard the preview, I simply thought the song would be catchy and also a bit about butterflies being attracted to flowers because of the 'butterfly' part. Finally, the full song came out and I was confused over the 'human nature' and 'do you wanna be my lover?' lines. Well, now I understand!

Originally, when I read these lyrics, I thought a bunch of poetic drunk women had gathered together to write a song about guys hitting on them. But yes, it really does seem like a club atmosphere, with drunken spiders pretending to be butterflies to lure men etc. Seeing as 'adabana' means fake love, it was used really well too! Kudos to the lyrics writers, and thanks for translating! Hope to see these subtitles on YouTube soon. (:
