Beauty is relative; they all shine in their own way both aesthetically and personality-wise.
In the beginning, I've always thought that Hyoyeon and Tiffany were the prettiest since they were the members who stood out to me the most.
Then came Seohyun and Yuri since they had the innocent and dark look respectively that appealed to my darker/less-girly tastes.
Now that I've actually seen them, Sooyoung stands out the most. I'm in love with her face <3 The structure is so unique that you won't find another like it.
Though I'll admit, Yoona took my breath away.
So to me, it's between Sooyoung, Tiffany and Yoona...though i'm leaning more towards Sooyoung.
But that's not to say the others aren't just as gifted <3 They're all hot in their own way. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

And it was so worth it.

Arrived in NYC Wednesday night. After a long and exhausting day of work and traveling, I went to eat, planning to sleep then wake up at 5am so I can start lining up. Just as I was finishing dinner, fortunately enough, a friend of mine texted me saying there were already people in line...at midnight.
Me: WTF! This early? FUUUUUUUUU

Basically, to summarize the line experience: it was countless hours of waiting out in the cold with nothing but the clothes on my back (which isn't as winter friendly as I thought) and a frozen cup of coffee in hand to keep me warm (and if you're lucky enough, a group of tall boys blocking the chilly air).

But it was definitely worthwhile--not only because I got to see and briefly interact with soshi but also meet and get a chance to talk to other sones.
In my experience, it amazes me how diverse and friendly sones are and I'm proud to have met so many wonderful people in the span of 2-3 days.

Anyway, to the part where I spoke with them.

Cameras were not allowed when you go up to them, but they were allowed before you reach the table. So I managed to squeeze in a shot or two of the girls before it was my turn:





My first impressions of the girls:

First up was Tiffany.
Bless her; she is so polite and sweet. I have a new level of respect for her after our brief exchange of words. Even when security was forcefully ushering me to hurry the F up, she maintained eye contact and definitely took her time voicing her appreciation for me being there. Even when I was already in front of Hyoyeon, she continued to speak to me, perhaps so as not to feel rushed. As a fan, that's something I wanted to personally hear from them. She was very sincere about it and she has this open and friendly air around her.

Then came Hyoyeon:
Her smile is so beautiful! I asked her how she was enjoying NYC, and she just smiled and laughed. I'm assuming she didn't quite hear or understand what I said, but nonetheless, her smile is infectious. She is so adorable <3

Sooyoung:
My gosh, she is so much more gorgeous in person. Honestly, I didn't even know what to say. She thanked me for coming out and vice versa. At the risk of sounding like a creep, I'm pretty sure I told her she was gorgeous too <3 well someones gotta say it :|

Yoona:
Ok, scratch that; I was totally star-struck when I went to her--stunned to silence. Suddenly I understand why she's always in the middle of the group. She has this charm, even without saying anything that just draws you in. Make up is very natural, and it fits her image just right. I couldn't say anything else past a thank you since I was pretty sure my brain already melted by then.

Seohyun:
MY BIAS. Out of the 8 (Jessica wasn't there :c), I spoke with her the longest.
She's such a sweetheart <3 I bowed my head to her and told her she's my favorite.
"Oh really?!", she says all surprised. She says something else that I can't recall; I believe we were talking about NYC or something (DAMN this goldfish memory of mine!). I commented on her near flawless English and told her to keep it up and to take care.

Sunny:
She seems pretty chill and nonchalant that I immediately screamed her name and told her I loved her while making a heart with my hands lmao. She laughed hard, repudiating my insecurities about making a fool of myself to get her to smile. Sunny is very cute indeed <3
I told her that she looks great with short hair and to keep it like that since it's really cute.

Taeyeon:
She has this professional and level-headed aura. She's friendly as well but notably a bit more reserved than the other 8, in my opinion. AH but Oh so pretty <3

Yuri:
Last but definitely not the least, Yuri<3! Gah, what did I say to her?! My mind was just whirring with so many things especially after meeting the preceding 7 that, for the life of me, I cannot recall everything!
I just remember her briefly looking up and saying, "Nice Meeting you" before I said thank you and left the premises in a daze.

My chances of meeting them again are quite slim but I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to see them, no matter how rushed. Although grim, I could only wish that one day, I'd get to actually speak with them--maybe even take a picture (hey, a girl can dream and hope).

On behalf of everyone who came to support SNSD, I thank SSF staff for their efforts, assisting fellow sones with all the following events. If us regular fans were already stressed, I'm sure yours were multiplied tenfold. And I thank the other sones who took the time out of their busy lives to come down and support the girls.


Yes, 3 days of pretty much no sleep for all of us...but I'm sure you guys felt that it was worth it.
