Comment: 1st ever Girls' Generation Singapore Solo Concert!!

After pondering about whether I should post this fan-acc up, I decided that I should do it, at least to preserve those precious 1st hand memories which Soshi created for all Sones during their own 1st Singapore concert - '2011 Girls' Generation Asia Tour'. This will be a very long fan-acc to include every smallest detail I can remember J By the way, I don’t write very well(some part might be mixed up) and I’m kinda sick due to lack of sleep nowadays, as well as suffering from self-proclaimed: Post concert withdrawal syndrome. I need Soshi’s love because I felt so depressed after that T_T

I had long ago thought of what I want to give to Soshi when they come to perform at their 1st ever Singapore concert. Also, I wondered if they are good enough... Perhaps I am just thinking too much, I decided to go with what I can think of as I don't have enough time to prepare the things I intended to get for them due to work(something which is a hinder when we already have plans ahead, agree?). So I got a little Rilakkuma soft toy keychain (for YoonA), Mickey mouse stickers as well as 4 pages of Korean & English hand-written letters. To think of it, it seems too simple.. Except that the Korean letter is the hardest part, because the words are quite similar and since I am new to it, it took me 4 hours including re-writting up to 5 or 6 pages. I am really thankful that my Korean friend is willing to translate my English letter for me. Thank you Jiwon! Being able to attend Soshi's 1st ever Singapore solo concert on the very 1st night, makes me feel so proud and honored inside! I am finally able to attend their concert!!

On Friday, 9 December 2011, I wrote the Korean letter since morning just in case I don't have enough time. True enough, I only finished it around 3.40pm because I went to get a new book to write the letters, and chained the Rilakkuma keychain to the book. Packed my concert 'weapons' quickly, double checked, leave my house and travelled to Kallang. The Singapore Indoor Stadium is located at Kallang, which everyone can reach by taking the MRT train & alight at "Stadium" station.

Upon reaching the outside of the Singapore Indoor Stadium, I was caught amazed by the number of Sones around the area, mostly queuing for the Pen, as well as some for the Terrace. Soshi music is blasted loudly through 4 big speakers, which is really pushing the heat up one level. After waiting and looking about, I went to queue at the Terrace queue outside of the North Entrance with my friend. Excitement is building up especially when this is my first time attending a real concert!

About 6.10pm or more (didn't take notice), the North Entrance is opened. I need to go through the security check before I can go into the concert hall. It seems like security is Alright, security check - passed! I grinned to myself after entering because my 'weapon' wasn't found. Lol. Looked for our Terrace seating(T38, Row 24) and I thought that we won’t have a good view. Sadly, there’s a big guy who was seated in front of me, and keep blocked my view by standing up to cheer. It’s quite frustrating because he is always blocking my camera whenever I am video-ing or taking pictures.. It’s quite tough to use your camera when the rule stated clearly that it’s banned, lol. So I have to always hide my camera whenever the security guards walked past us. Seated quietly beside my friend, no one knows how much I had been waiting for this night. It’s like standing in front of the door to a beautiful and magical dream. Waited for about 40 minutes plus or so. Occasionally, random advertisements will be played…Rather interesting is the Yahoo ad, which everyone will say “Yahooo~” together. Too excited to think of how slow the time is moving while waiting, I would rather the time be this slow during the whole concert! About 7.20pm, the stadium has already been filled with fans. Some quickly hang their long banners because the security will ask them to get seated. Ahh, I can feel the Soshi heat already.


The concert commenced at about 7.30pm. Lights were dimmed; and Sones know our moment has begun. Pink light sticks were prepared as Sones got ready for the arrival of the 9 goddesses. Everyone’s focus is on the white colored “tent-styled” prop which was covered with big white cloths. When the music starts, the introduction with loud bass almost pound my heart out, it’s really loud! Stage lights were all over the stage, as the tent start to ‘tremble’. By now, you can see that the whole stadium has become a big pink ocean. The tent rose up, slowly the top of the tent was pulled up, I can see our goddesses seated gracefully inside on stairs. After the top is removed, the walls of the tent were lowered down that become staircases. After the introduction stops, Taeyeon starts the ball rolling, still seated and singing!!! Heavenly vocal - “Sewaneh manehbwa”. Every time they say “Tell me your wish” in the beginning, everyone will start to cheer loudly. Yes, the first song is Genie(Tell me your wish)! This song hit me hard because I was still in a daze (if you remember I mentioned that I thought I was in a beautiful and magical dream.) and I cheered as loud as I can while Soshi start to go around interacting with Sones around the stage. You should see how glamorous are they, wearing their white & glittery suits which make them shine even brighter. Instantly, you know the kind of magical feeling...this stage has become the relation of just Soshi & Sone. It was only the starting when I feel myself trembling with joy and excitement, and my camera lens keep shaking because of that. Haha!! I like the part when Fany said: “Singapore!!! Put it back on~~~~!!” in her cute and sexy voice!!!
I’m disappointed with myself for not listening to some of the songs like “I’m in love with the hero”, “Let it rain” & ”Sweet talking baby” because I couldn’t sing-along with Soshi. Don’t have that much money to buy the Japanese Album at those time.. I also want to mention that it’s quite worrying to see Soshi rush off the stage whenever the lights are turned off during the end of each of their performance. They ran so fast on their heels, and it hurts to see this…I would rather they walk quickly to get off the stage instead of running in order to be on time! Soshi, please take care of your legs and not hurt them anymore. It’s not nice to walk on blisters..Okay, carry on!

“Mr Taxi” performance is awesome, and the fan-chant is good but a bit not clear enough. I love “Snowy Wish” and I didn’t expect myself to hear it for myself during this concert, and totally immersed myself into their beautiful singing. What a joy! “Kissing You” was very nice too, the fan-chant was as good as earlier during “Genie”! As the melody starts to play, the whole stadium was filled with cheer. A repeat of “Dudurududu~” by Soshi, and all of us(Sone) will reply with “Kissing You Baby!!!” as loud as we can. And, finally I am able to shout my lungs out with the 4 epic sentence cheers! “Jigeumeun So Nyuh Shi Dae, Apeurodo So Nyuh Shi Dae, Yongwonhi So Nyuh Shi Dae, So Nyuh Shi Dae Saranghae”.
After “Kissing You”, I think it’s “Oh!” and I remembered that the fan-chant got even louder this time. Singing and watching “Oh!” at the same time is really fantastic and the performance is so professional and epic. My heart just melted from it. Everyone around my seating area stood up to cheer and sing together. The part during “Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! So Nyuh Shi Dae! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! So Nyuh Shi Dae!” is so lovely! During these 2 songs, Soshi was always interacting with Sones by walking around or standing at different points of the stage.

The next row of performances is solo performances by the different goddess. The first to start off was Hyoyeon: “Don’t Stop the Music”! Hyoyeon was dressed in a white and silver suit, our dancing queen is really so sexy! Then, it was Jessica’s turn to perform “Almost”. Wearing a very long and beautiful dress (many roses on the skirt I think), the lights shone on her as she played the piano while singing. The next performance “Three” by Sunny is a ‘ribbon’ dance, as she dance sexily while singing. Her short hair and her outfit really suit this song. Cool! Then it was “Lady Marmalade” which Tiffany was starts off by singing in pinkish sexy little outfit, then awhile later followed by Taeyeon in the purple & blue sexy outfit. Ahh, cute and sexy at same time! The duo is really good, and I can listen to the song over and over again! After this, the first part of solo performances ended, and continued with other few songs which I didn’t hear before.

It was “Bad Girl” which caused the rocking motion, people rocking and shaking their light sticks along to the music. After the rock song, it was “Devil’s Cry”!!!! “Holy ****!” I screamed out loud because I know this is going to be freaking epic! Taeng rocker is out to rock the stage by singing this introduction after “Bad Girl”, and of course I rocked and shake my head even harder along to the singing! WOOOT!~ After Taeng is done with her introduction, it’s “Run Devil Run”!! Awesome coordination which I believe no one can do it like them. Hoho!
Ahh, though it’s upsetting to have people blocking my views, Soshi’s performances just take away those frustration and I don’t even have a feeling about it later. Perhaps next time, I will be luckier to get a better seat! Haha.

Occasionally during some points of the concert, Soshi will talk to us, and they are super sweetie pies seriously, gosh! Fany speaks most of the time in English, and to translate for some of the members who spoke up too. Sica speaks too little, but her English is really cute, speak up more!! Sooyoung greeted sexily with “Hello, Singapore!”, which caused everyone to go wild and yell like mad! Then she carry on to speak in Korean. HOT. Seohyun also greeted in English and Mandarin, and her languages improved!! Yuri also greeted with her cute and heavy Korean accent in Mandarin, “Hello everyone! I’m So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Yuri!!” >w< Thinking of that moment makes my heart melt instantly~! At times, Fany will ask Taeng to speak, and she will talk in Korean. Haha! Ahh, these girls! We really don’t mind you girls speaking in Korean, don’t hold it back please!! They are really happy to perform in Singapore & Sooyoung told us that we are wonderful Sones who give them so much support and energy, even in Singapore too! /Super loud cheers.

“The Boys” & “Hoot” bring the whole concert up to another level, really felt “Girls’ Generation make you feel the heat”!! “The Boys” is in English version, probably because it’s in Singapore. Epic moments like the super loud & impactful “GG” that echoed, “TRX” & “Bring the Boys Out” make everyone go high, and everybody stood up if I’m not wrong. “Hoot” is uber sexy, and the awesome coordination made me feel so love and I got even crazier when I cheered. Another chance for me to scream my favorite 4 sentence fan-chant! Hohohoho!!!

After that, it’s the 2^nd part of the solo performances, with “If” by Yuri!! Super sexy & beautiful girl….*nose bleeding* I won’t be describing her dressing because at the point of the performance I felt blood rushing in my brain! Yelling like some crazy idiot during her performance from my seat. HAHAHA! I want to complain that it’s too short! The solo performance should be even longer, wooot! Sorry, can’t describe the performance because my mind was blank when I see her dance. JJIANG. After Yuri’s performance, it was Sooyoung performing “Sway”, very sexy purple dress! I was making noise like “GRRRR” & “WOOAH” during the performance as she sashay like a beautiful swan. The performance is not easy & I’m really jealous of the male dancer from her solo performance, dancing so close to each other, doing those sexy dance moves >w< After that, it’s “Stuff like that there” by Seohyun, she’s wearing a very nice navy blue dress and black high heels with her hair tied up. But instead of looking sexy in her tap dance, she looks so cute, damn cute as she tap dance!! Still can remember the scene when she run while tap dancing to the middle of the stage, fast and in a cute way. I want to complain that it’s as short as Yuri’s performance! After that it’s YoonA’s cute and sexy “4 Minutes”!! Doing “Tik tok tik tok” like a cute & sexy bunny, omona~!!! “Tik tok tik tok tik tok!!”, can’t help but keep repeating it. And, the difficult ‘pole dancing’, which I think look like the soccer goal post, is so nice to watch! I want an encore!!! After this, it’s “Danny Boy” by Jessica, Sunny, Taeyeon, Seohyun & Tiffany, they were already dressed in the red, white and blue cute military looking outfit! Cuuuuuuda~!!
Then, it’s “Complete”, which we forgot to do the “Kallang Wave”, probably everyone is too focus in Soshi’s performance because I am guilty of that. LOL! Oh ya, Soshi bluffed us that it’s the last song L Boohooohoo, made me so sad and wanna cry because I thought it’s really good-bye. Fany kept teasing us that it’s really goodbye and it’s their last song. I kept shouting “No” and everyone shouted “No!!!” animously for a few times, that’s another epic moment, hehe! They bowed to us at the middle of the stage, and said “goodbye” to us happily and left the stage. Then the front of the stage was lighted up, which make it look like the concert has ended. I really don’t understand why some people left the concert which they bluffed us, LOL! What a waste! You should know better that you should at least wait for encores! :/ But also can’t blame them, it’s the 20^th or more song.


Everyone is unwilling to leave at all. After that, all of us shouted “So Nyuh Shi Dae, So Nyuh Shi Dae, So Nyuh Shi Dae!!!!” *on repeat mode* then also shouted “Encore, Encore, Encore, Encore, Encore!” *Also on repeat mode* as well as “Let’s go Soshi, let’s go!” *repeat thrice mode*
Finally our goddesses reappear on stage again, this time with the legendary cute looking red ship!! The red ship is in two parts, with the sail that can be raised or lowered easily //loud screams. Bringing us “My Child”, which made me thought of cute Kyungsan, that little baby boy who is Soshi’s little son (You will know if you watched ‘Hello Baby’ variety program). So heartwarming and awesome!!! Almost cried because it’s really touching, at the same time happy that it’s still not over, wakaka. And, there are really many Soshi moments, don’t miss them! After that, it’s “Nen Myung”!! Kinda remind me of Japan’s cold noodle ~__~ *Hungry* Heard this song before, but never know that it has such a funny title Then it’s “Hahaha Song”!! Awesome! Their singing & dancing are as good as the MV scenes, we scream even louder during parts like “HAHAHA” and “One, two, ah, one, two, three, GO!”! This song is my favorite whenever I’m down, because I know Soshi will make me feel confident and happy again!!! Then comes every Sone’s favorite! “GEE”!! *Do crab dance* this time during the song, we are as loud as when we fan-chanted during “The Boys”, cool to the max!!! Loud parts: “Gee, Gee, Gee, Gee!!!”, “So Nyuh Shi Dae!”, “Pabok!”, “Banjang, banjang!”, “No no no no no!”, “Oh oh oh oh oh!” & Oh yeah!”!!! During these few performances, I think there were Sones who threw the gifts they want to give to Soshi up on the stage. Another worrying moment…I think it’s not good to do this, what if they slip and fall? Who’s gonna account for it? Please think twice!! Fany told us not to throw them up, and to do so only after the concert which means they will keep them! Please take note of the safety of our goddesses!! Ahhh, and everytime Soshi comes around, people will raise their board, flag, heart, banner… aigoo….irritating I must say, sorry but it’s blocking everyone at the back. But I can understand that impulse too. So forget it.


During the final interlude, Fany asked: “Anyone from Indonesia?” “Japan? Thailand? Taiwan? Korea? China?” She also asked if we are tired. Everyone shouted: NO!!! Cute Fany eye-smiled as she did this conversation. “Wow you guys are amazing, we are pretty tired. Haha~" Then a bit of silence till she say: “Just kidding!!!” Then everyone cheered damn loud again! ^^ “You guys had fun?” “YESSS!!” “Would you guys come to our concert again?” “YESSS!!!!!” “GREAT!” Fany say that they are happy that we are so passionate. They wish to come again to do another concert *cheers*, and she ask if we will come for the concert and of course “YESSS!!!!” “Promise?” “YESS!!!!” Haha so cute Then she also asked if we are coming tomorrow(10 Dec). Ahhh, Fany! Sorry that I can’t…I’m tight in terms of finance. I will do so next year, if I can get the tickets. 2 or 3 or 4 times in a row, I don’t mind!! Then after the talking, she said:“Okay, bringing the last song” *heart sank*
They sang the song “Forever”, holy mama…. It’s another emotional song that nearly brings me to tears, so I didn’t sing along or I will cry. They are looking so emotional when they sing this song too. And I saw Sooyoung cried if I am not wrong. L Around the last quarter of the song at 3:00, the whole stadium is filled with confetti that make it look so snowy and beautiful, as some of the Soshi members were bring up to the top in the middle of the stage. I can never forget that look on Sunny’s face, tearful eyes. Pretty.. This time, because of all the moments during the performance of this song, I took for it when Soshi bluffed us again that they are leaving. And I actually still took for it, LOL! Sadness is overwhelming me again. L All of us, Sone, shouted “So Nyuh Shi Dae, So Nyuh Shi Dae, So Nyuh Shi Dae!!!!” & “Encore, Encore, Encore, Encore, Encore!” *On repeat mode* over and over again. This time I thought we are goners, because they took a lot longer to come out from the backstage. So everyone shouted even louder this time, but dies off again. Probably everyone has run out of voice, hehe~ If you were there, you would agree with me. The scenes during “Forever” were too beautiful….

They reappeared in the outfit which I love a lot…wearing the official shirt by the concert organizer, big white feather headband, and the brown “feathery” high cut boots! The 2^nd encore with one of the costume I like a lot! Okay, this is really freaking shocking and awesome. It’s “Into the New World”!!! Oh my gooooddness! Favorite outfit + favorite song = Full of <3!!!!! Totally enjoyed the performance, but still feel that it’s a waste that they didn’t dance the last part of the song which is the epic part. Follow by “Himnae”, ahhh not familiar with the lyric of this song but the melody. So still manageable and really enjoyable more than just listening to the song at home. Just to tell you, the ambience at that moment is really damn high!!! Everyone stood up to sway to the music!!! Beautiful confetti filled the stadium again! ^^

“This is our last song, dedicated to Sones, because you guys are “Fantastic’!!” During “Himnae” & “Fantastic”, goddesses were going around the stage to greet Sones. Super great! But those at the back weren’t that lucky because we were always blocked. When Seohyun, YoonA, Sunny, Hyoyeon came to the side of where I was seated. All the Sone in front of me went to crowd round the railing, to get near to them. I decided that it’s the time I should do something!!!! Since everyone is blocking me, I shall not give any chance to let regret take over me. I squeezed my way through to stand in front of the railing, no matter who is it. And, HOLY!!! The 4 of them are right in front of me(standing on the stage which is lowered and spaced from the 2^nd floor)!!! At that point of time, I felt a sense of happiness. It’s my moment with the 4 beautiful goddesses. I thought I was dreaming because it was super HD than any SNSD’s video than I watched before. 2080p video from Youtube, 6 dimensional! LOL. Sunny & Hyoyeon were on the left, and Seohyun, YoonA on the right. The other five were on the right, if I didn’t remember wrongly. When Seohyun walked to the left, and Hyoyeon walked to the right, I quickly bring out the gift I want to pass to them and put my right hand which was holding onto gift out as far as I can to them. YoonA and Seohyun looked at me. But YoonA looked at me for at least 4 seconds, from looking at the pink gift to looking at me. Wow Seriously…her eyes are so beautiful. My head spinned. Is she a fallen angel? My heart was pounding madly, and ignored all the security around me. At that moment, I saw a shirt flying and hit Seohyun. Damn that person who threw it on her. She looked quite shocked but smiled again. Then I looked at YoonA, but YoonA didn’t take the book because it’s quite far away I think. Then I realized this is dangerous for the girls and me!! Sorry Soshi! No more next time. YoonA smiled politely and the four of them left together after thanking and saying hello to us. As they walked away, I decided to throw the pink gift for them on to the stage since it's the final good-bye, after they were at least 7 steps away. Sorry again, I know I lost my mind because I am afraid of regret.

After that, I watched from where I was standing as they walked back to the main stage, and I quickly continue to film and take pictures of the lady. Sorry, I didn’t take any pictures during that moment when so near to them, I swear it’s at least 3m away only. As you know camera is banned, I was afraid that the security will take my camera away by force too. Also, thankful that no Sone pulled me away because of what I did. Hereby, sorry to the Sones if I offended you in any way. *return back to seat*

There are a few times they bowed to us in a long and neat row, like the 2 pretense endings. This time it’s for real, they bowed in the middle of the stage, as well as the middle of the stage, which they bowed longer than usual. Sarangheyo, my love! I really lost count of time, and I thought I was in heaven! I finally believe that I am a Sone after all these years and this 1st ever Singapore solo concert by a wonderful Korean Girl Group - So Nyuh Shi Dae!

Thank you for giving Singapore Sone and other Sone such a wonderful time! Thank you for loving Sones! Thank you for telling us that you love Singapore! Thank you Sooyoung for telling us that Singapore is one of the most beautiful country in the world! Thank you Soshi for talking to us! Thank you for telling us how you feel! Thank you for trusting Sones! Thank you for the time! Thank you for the wonderful and professional performances! Thank you for giving us so much Soshi dorky moments! Thank you for the wonderful fan moments!

Fany! Don’t forget the promise! All of us will wait for that day of the Singapore concert no matter what! I hope you guys will read what I gave to you, the Korean and English version, and like the Rilakkuma and the Mickey Mouse! I will continue to write even more!
