5 years. 60 months. 240 weeks. 1826 days. 43 824 hours. 2 629 440 minutes. 157 766 400 seconds.

The time separating today from the day when 9 teenage girls began to make history.

Five years ago, nobody believed in them. Nobody believed they would survive. Almost everybody thought they will fade away in a few months.

Oh, how wrong they were.

Those 9 girl lasted till today.

Now, 5 years later, they're one out of few groups that lasted and are even better than before.

My lovely girls.

I feel honored I have a chance to see you grow up and get more mature. From enthusiastic teenage girls grew up mature and sophisticated ladies. Uhh, most of the time.

They went trough a lot. They laughed. They cried. They fell down. They got up.

Everytime fate pushed them to the ground, they got up even stronger than before.

And I'm proud of these girls.

I just love you. Genuinely.

I may be biased towards some members, but I really love them all.

You don't even know, but you make my life complete.

Kim Taeyeon. Jessica Jung. Lee Sunkyu. Stephanie Hwang. Kim Hyoyeon. Kwon Yuri. Choi Sooyoung. Im Yoona. Seo Juhyun.

Nine names. Nine girls. Nine personalities. Nine stars.

Girls' Generation. So Nyeo Shi Dae.

One group. One spirit. One dream. One hope.

I'm envious of your bond. I really am.

And I hope it will last forever. I know forever is impossible, so at least... as long as possible.

And I'm pretty sure it's possible forat least another 5 years. Wait, no... 50 years.

Soshi bond. Soshi bond is everlasting.

Power of nine... Even the number... 9. It's not just a number. It has a meaning. When you give somebody 9 roses, it means: "We will be together forever".

I feel really honored for the opportunity to watch you growing up, laughing and crying.

We can't stop the time.

Another groups will come and yes, they might be more successfull, just like you were more successfull than another groups in the past.

But in my heart you will still be number one. I really believe so.

You're my biggest idols. Somebody I look up to. You inspire me, you teach me, you make me laugh, you make me cry.

Girls' Generation is a power. It's a determination. A hard work. An honor. A beauty and a glory. It's perfection. Girls' Generation is an eternity. A loyalty. It's a hope. Our future, our past and our present.

Thank you Taeyeon, for leading the 8 girls so far and being the cute caring dork you are.

Thank you Jessica, for always being honest and making me laugh with your inability to make people laugh.

Thank you Sunny, for always bringing brightness to my shady days with your cuteness.

Thank you Tiffany, for showing me what a real determination and courage is.

Thank you Hyoyeon, for your sassy jokes that show that you and your 8 members are the real family

Thank you Yuri, for making yourself look stupid and messing up the choreographies, proving that idols are just humans as well.

Thank you Sooyoung, for always making me laugh with your hilarious imitations and gangsta acting.

Thank you Yoona, for always introducing yourself as "So Nyeo Shi Dae's Yoona" despide the fact your a famous actress.

Thank you Seohyun, for being perfect and not allowing your unnies to kill each other.

Thank you, for being who you are. Thank you, for being Girls' Generation.

You should be really proud of yourself. You made a history.

There will always be some mean people, but there will also always be somebody standing behind your back, ready to hold you once you trip or protect you once something happens.

Everytime you look back, there will be somebody supporting you. We, S♥NE, will be there.

Maybe you will have solo activities in the future. But there will never be an official end of Girls' Generation.
