Since last year I have been thinking that I am very fortunate. Because last year when I debuted, I gave many thanks to god for letting me have 8 new family members, and this year I am very pleased to spend my birthday together with everyone here.

There is a letter I wrote to SNSD members on my birthday.
I wanted to read out the same letter to fans.
It was a very long letter but in short,

Thank you for becoming a part of our family.

In a family, we encouter happiness but also sadness, or good things but also bad things, however,

the soshi bond really rocks my socks. i love how they emphasize their group as a family and not as a group. lol. tiffany of all people would surely feel grateful in meeting 8 new family members since she had to leave her real family in the states. and im sure all 8 feels the same about her.

I'd go on about how sweet and cute she is. But this clip really more touched me as a Soshi-bond thing. Seriously, I love how there is just this bond between all 9 members- that's they're really family, not just a group.
I can't explain the brilliance of the bond. But... I just like it. I just like it. 9 girls that are trying to make it to the top, as one, and then fans right behind them- but like an extended family instead of the immediate.

Fany is just too sweet and caring. She's has a huge second family because it's not only the girls that love her but us fans too who would protect and defend all of Soshi. I hope she knows that she doesn't have to change because of other people, it's enough for us to have her be herself because in the end we're the ones who are supporting and loving her.
