I know that there are lots of Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert (DKFC) fanaccounts here now and we actually experienced the same thing but I think it would nice to share it. To anyone who takes time to read this, I am very thankful.

I wasn't able to take any fancams because I wanted to savor it live.

Sorry for the long post.

--------

The sacrifices I gave for DKFC are like bubbles that eventually disappear the moment I realized that they are standing in front of me just like what's in everyone's dreams.

Pre-Concert Experience

I was awakened by a text message from a friend saying that Girls' Generation will be performing at DKFC. I already fell victim to different rumors pertaining to their solo concert so I remained skeptic about the information. I confirmed it from the organizer herself and decided that I will never miss this opportunity to see the girls. It took a lot of effort to save sufficient amount of cash for the ticket. It also took me a lot of effort to  convince my parents that attending the concert will be worth it. Ah, the sacrifices of a SONE.

Concert Experience

The girls arrived at the day of the concert itself so I decided to sacrifice my spot on the line in order to go to the airport. We waited for several hours. The first info we have is that they will be arriving around 11 am but due to some circumstances their flight was delayed by 3 hours. Everything was in place. The banners and fanchants were just waiting to be shown and executed to the girls. Unfortunately, the girls were advised to take a different exit which sort of demoralized us because we wanted to show them the warm welcome and hospitality of the Filipino people. I saw some SONEs in tears and I think I kind of understand how they feel because I felt my own eyes burn when I heard about Tiffany's beauty from those who've seen her. We went back to the concert venue and were lucky to have good spots despite the huge wave of people waiting.

I felt my body crumble when I saw 9 figures getting on-stage forming a line. The crowd went wild when Taeyeon sang "Sowoneul Malhaebwa". My eyes were burning while fanchanting - this must be how it feels to have your dreams come true. My strength further degenerated itself when Tiffany said: "Philippines! Put it back on!" I swear that when Fany said those words the crowd went to its wildest state. After "Genie", the girls sang "The Boys" the Pink Ocean is at its peak with the loud fanchants and Jessica and Taeyeon's high notes are so flawless despite the technical difficulties being experienced. Then came their "Hoot" performance and it reminded me of the days when we were doing a cover for the dance. It feels so surreal hearing it live. Tiffany started to tease the fans when she lead the girls into singing, "Yeah~ Yeah~ Yeah~" before asking us "do you know what song that is?". We screamed "Dancing Queen" and they began their performance.

The short interview followed and it was very touching to hear Tiffany acknowledge the "We thought YOU'D never COME" flag prepared by the entire PH SONE fandom. We were also shocked to discover that Tiffany's brother lives in the country. I won't forget the moment when the MC said that we should see the girls up-close and that they look like dolls plus she told Sunny that she was so cute before hugging her and possibly pinching her cheek. The Bunny was so embarrassed and ended up covering her face while laughing. We shouted "Aegyo! Aegyo!" and we're rewarded with a smile. The MC also told Jessica that the composer of the song "Someday" praised her rendition. This earned us the chance to hear Jessica sing an OPM song live. Jessica was so cute after singing because she made some amusing gestures with her body. It was very amusing to see the MC addressing the questions to Sunny (I guess she really likes the green-haired Bunny) and Jessica and Tiffany always end up answering the inquiries. The next topic was about the girls' popularity. I can see in the girls' faces that they were so happy being in the Philippines. To be honest, the place looks similar to the Pink Ocean during their solo concert. I am also hoping that the girls are aware that 3 of their songs (I Got A Boy which is number 1, All My Love is For You, and Flower Power) are dominating Filipino music charts.

A confused Yoona was shown at the LED screen before their "Gee" performance. Prior to that, the girls were asked to perform "I Got A Boy" - this led to a cute and confused Yoongie. Tiffany once again set the fans on fire when she told us that they will first "stream" with their song "Gee" before performing "I Got A Boy". By streaming, she meant going around the stage. They finished the song right in front of me and my previous daze reached a deeper state. The most-awaited performance followed: "I Got A Boy". The girls changed their mics first and Tiffany did not forget to tell the fans that they will only be changing their mics in a while in order for them to show us their moves. The performance was too good to be true and it gave us a sense of pride because that was the first IGAB performance. Just the perfect way to end the night. The girls said their thank you messages and hurriedly went to the backstage. We asked for an encore but time won't permit it.

Dreams do come true. I've become a part of the Pink Ocean. I've seen the angels.

P.S. Filipino SONEs hardly did fanchants. We were SINGING ALONG with them the entire time.

Post-Concert Experience

To be honest, I am not spazzing right now. I am too overwhelmed and nothing of the events yesterday sank in to my system. Everything is still like a dream to me. I watched IGAB MV a while ago - the first time after DKFC - and my tears really fell. I cried so hard because I still can't fathom that such things - my dreams, all SONEs dreams - happened to myself. Maybe I'll have those fangirling moments soon but right now, when I remember everything, there are tears of joy.

A question: Am I the only one who experiences this kind of feeling that I cannot spazz? Or maybe this is the "Soshi withdrawal syndrome"? I am just curious, :)

Great sharing. We are all very blessed to have the girls visit our home country. And getting to experience seeing them on stage and performing for us SONEs makes it all even better. I have been feeling quite the same way, too. I still can't get over what I had just experienced last night. One of the many things I'm thankful for (other than SNSD) is the atmosphere that PH SONEs bring. When you're there together with them, magic happens. Like you, I'm glad to have been part of the pink ocean for the girls. Here's to hoping they come back soon! :)

I think I know what you feel man. I like your term "Soshi Withdrawal Syndrome" and if it's any consolation I'm quite sure I'm also kind of experiencing it. Last night is just a dream come true for us PH SONEs.  :D

Wow! I envy you guys. I wasn't able to watch the concert even though I badly wanted to see the girls, especially Yuri, live. It was good to know that SONEs were fanchanting. I love how the girls acknowledged their fans and didn't act like some snob celebrities. I've been to the Big Bang concert last October and based on the photos and fan accounts I've read, it seems that SNSD is even more popular here in the Philippines than Big Bang! I hope they come back for a solo concert. That would be awesome. :)

Btw, how was Yuri during the concert?  :handy:

Everyone sang with Taeyeon's wangjanim part. PH SONEs fanchant and sing along and there are times when i fail to hear the voice of the person singing because of SONEs' singing.

About the solo concert, Tiffany said that they will be coming back. :) *this is so much win!!*

Yuri possesses so much charima. T.T and to call her black pearl? Her skin complexion is so white that I can't believe Koreans consider her to have a dark complexion.

I'm happy reading and seeing a lot of SONEs posting their fanaccounts of the Dream KPop Fantasy Concert.

Yes, I was there too.

And yes, it's been over a week, and I still have withdrawal syndrome. Still can't believe that SNSD finally performed in our home turf. It's a great experience.

That's the thing too: At least in my section, VIP Platinum, we were both fanchanting and singing along like crazy!!! It was so surreal! Well, I do expect that. We Filipinos are notorious of singing along the songs we know and love, even if it's in a different language. Man, imagine if it was in a closed arena, where the acoustics would be so much better - and imagine the look on SNSD's faces when they realize that we Filipinos know every single word in their songs - even if we don't know Korean. That would have been awesome indeed.

Aaaw~ yeah dreams do really come true :) I never thought that I'll be able to see them T^T I never thought that, that day would come T^T
I was too overwhelmed during the concert. I saw SNSD, my major girl group fandom ♥ I really wanted to cry but tears won't flow~ everything seems to come fast and I was just happy :)) I can't believe I saw Sunny ♥ my ultimate bias. I kinda miss that day but who wouldn't? :)
