Man, I've been crying along to this song while reading the translations. The lyrics for the Japanese songs seem so much more in-depth compared to their Korean ones. Not all of them of course, but I find the Japanese lyrics to touch me a whole lot. Anyway, amazing song.

it's the exact same song but it's in english. do any of you know if it's actually a demo song that SM bought or something?

It sorta sounds like the popular American songs... It probably wouldn't be the best to promote cause I can't really picture a dance performance to it, and SNSD isn't really the kind of group that would just go up and sing like American bands cause there aren't, you know, instruments...

But just wondering about this line: あなたに逢いに行くことが出来たなら
Shouldn't the kanji for 逢 be 会 instead? Since 逢 means to love

To explain in a little more detail, the actual lyrics have the kanji printed as 逢. This kanji in itself does also mean 会, but using 逢 helps denote the relation the person using it has towards the other person. In this case, 逢 is used to represent meeting a close friend or even a lover. This is where you might have thought that 逢 means love. So for this song, the person riding the time machine wants to go meet her/his love.

I hope this helps in clarifying why they used that specific kanji.
