There might be a problem with the iTunes gift cards...
I just came back from this foreign exchange camp, where I was a counselor...
I took care of kids from China.
They told me that although you can use the Korean app store (I believe there's a lotttt more stuff in the U.S one...) iTunes gift cards cannot be used in China; you have to use a credit card.
I'm not sure if thats applicable to Korea... Just a heads up.

Aw You should've given them a blender. In We Got Married, tiffany gave seohyun and yonghwa a blender and said "even though they needed one in the dorm".
