On October 15th, Taeyeon performed her debut solo track, “I”, on this week’s “M! Countdown”. She then proceeded to win the episode with a score of 10,929, which is the third highest in the music show’s history, edged out only by two performances of Girls’ Generation’s “Lion Heart.”
Taeyeon’s win marks a new high point in her comeback promotions so far. As previously reported, her mini-album achieved an all-kill across South Korean music charts when first released. Check out Taeyeon’s winning performance and award acceptance speech below.
