Girls’ Generation received two awards at the 29th Japan Gold Disc Awards, marking the fourth straight year Girls’ Generation has been honored by the awards show. Last year, Girls’ Generation’s “Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~” and “LOVE&PEACE” albums also were chosen for “Best 3 Albums of Asia” at the 28th Japan Gold Disc Awards. In 2012 and 2013, Girls’ Generation’s other releases were honored in various categories as well.
For 2015, Girls’ Generation’s “Indestructible” was chosen for “Song of the Year by Download” along with “Let It Go”, in Japanese and English, from Disney’s “Frozen”. Girls’ Generation’s “The Best” album won the “Best 3 Albums of Asia” award. Fellow S.M. Entertainment labelmate TVXQ! also placed two albums in the category.

awesome news! congrats ladies! so proud of Soshi and their hard work and Sones supporting them. so amazing they’ve now gone 4yrs straight being honor with some JGDA awards. well deserved indeed. “Indestructible” is a very beautiful song. i love everything about that song and i hope they’ll get more beautiful songs to sing. i also want them to keep stocking up on some more awards.
