On April 11th, Girls’ Generation will be releasing the concert album of the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour”. The album will consist of two CDs and 34 tracks, and two songs, “Let It Rain” and “Danny Boy”, will be included as re-recorded studio versions. The remaining tracks for the album, including “Genie”, “Run Devil Run”, “Hoot”, “Gee”, “Oh!”, “Snowy Wish”, “Sweet Talking Baby”, “The Great Escape”, and “Bad Girl”, were recorded during Girls’ Generation’s concert performances in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th, 2011. These two concerts were also used for the DVD release of the “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour”, which can be purchased through YesAsia.
The “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour” was Girls’ Generation’s second concert tour through Asia. The tour began in Seoul and later reached Taiwan, Singapore, and Hong Kong, before ending in Thailand in February of 2012.

i have a question here,i bought the dvd version of this before.it came together with a photobook.is the photobook the exactly same one as the one included in the cds version?
Being a SONE costs a lot of $. lol The girls release so many cd’s which is always a good thing though. :p

To answer your question: Copyright issues. SMEnt couldn’t get the rights to their solo performances. Yoona did a Madonna original while Seohyun’s was a Bette Midler original (if I remember correctly).

Why don’t their DVDs ever have English subtitles?
It would be great to have some English subs on the DVDs. Guess its to do with space requirements of the DVD discs. Being No1 in Asia is their first concern. Once SNSD have world domination we will get re release of DVDs with English subs.
Subtitles are just text and text “weighs” almost nothing. They could easily fit them onto DVDs.

i have been waiting for this announcement to be made and finally after 2 yrs of waiting, it’s finally legit. well no one didn’t say that they would release this but i was always hoping for this. i have their 1st Asia tour ITNW live cd, which was the very 1st Soshi item along with a 9 piece OH! posters that i bought in 2011 (the year i became a S♥ne and the year i started paying attention to kpop). so yes i was hoping for this to continue the traditon. now i can have this treasure with the rest of my Soshi treasure. thanks SSF :)
