Shortly after being revealed in the fourth episode of “Love Rain” as Kim Yoonhee’s theme song last week, Tiffany’s OST song, “Because It’s You”, has officially been released. On April 10th, the track was released on various music portals, such as Melon, Bugs and Olleh, amongst others. The OST can be previewed on those music portals.
The track features hauntingly beautiful vocals from Tiffany, along with a somewhat sorrowful tune and lyrics that speak of deep love for another. Tiffany showcased her voice in this ballad, featuring her wide vocal range, and with both soft and powerful vocal parts, the ballad fits the current theme of the drama. Netizens praised Tiffany’s song, and especially her voice, saying “wow” and that it was “really sweet”.

I really really really like this song!!! I kept on hearing it. I thought the entire melody would be like sad, low etc. I was proven wrong as it was nearing the end… Was totally taken aback by a sudden burst of vocal?!! OMG. O.O Sweet, strong and stable voice. Tiffany really impressed me by A LOT. One of her best ballads I feel personally. Comparable to Taeyeon’s. Haha, I ♥ TAENY!!! :D Hwaiting, keep on fighting!

I agree! This song is great and I am glad to be able to hear GG supporting GG in one drama! I’ve always hoped that some from GG would sing a song that someone else from GG was in. It’s why I was so happy that Girls’ Generation (the song) was in You Are My Destiny! That was so cool!

Finally! Yay! Another reason to love Tiffany! When I saw the episode when Yoona was crying when this song was playing in the background I was stunned silly. That was a perfect combination if I ever saw one.

I wanted to cry while reading the lyrics because it reflects the drama perfectly. “Don’t say sorry, love isn’t over for me yet.”

Her voice is so warm and so emotional that it sends chills running through my spine, and that high note near the end just did it <3 That is the best OST I've ever heard. It deserves to win many awards just for the soul and feelings put into it, Tiffany is just….so freaking amazing. I'm so in awed at her husky and strong voice, I don't even know anymore. It's just too beautiful.
Tiffany has always had a lower-toned voice, and when combined with some of the more upbeat tones of SNSD’s music, it can be rather unnatural, which just speaks volumes about her ability and willingness to adapt. However, here her voice fits perfectly. She is able to showcase her carefully crafted higher tones but also display her naturally flowing lower tones. The variation makes for a very effective song…and a song can go a long to portraying the feel of a drama, and transform it from good to great…as is done here in the beautiful drama Love Rain!!! :-)
